Accessibility Statement

RWTH Aachen University strives to make its website accessible in accordance with national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.

The following accessibility statement documents the current state of implementation for the domain you are visiting, in accordance with the Ordinance on the Creation of Accessible Information Technology pursuant to the Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities Act of North Rhine-Westphalia (BITV NRW).

The website is continuously monitored through random sample testing.

For embedded content such as YouTube videos or content from external databases or other sources, accessibility cannot be guaranteed.

Similarly, PDF documents internally linked and uploaded via the CMS may not meet accessibility standards.

Content in Easy Language and sign language is currently not available.

We are actively working to remove these barriers as quickly as possible.
