RETRAKT Project Kick-off

On April 9, 2025, the project partners of the RETRAKT project met in Aachen for their joint kick-off. The meeting took place at the Innovation and Learning Center of the ITA Academy, together with the project management agency Projektträger Karlsruhe.

The RETRAKT project explores how textile and apparel manufacturers can design their processes to be resource-efficient, circular, and recycling-oriented - even under uncertain conditions. It is guided by the interdisciplinary approach of Resilience Engineering. The tools and methods developed within the project will be tested through two practical case studies. In addition, a digital collaboration platform will be created to provide technical support for implementation across the industry.
