About Us
Thorey Gera Textilveredelung GmbH is a textile finishing company that uses wet chemical finishing and functionalization processes to produce high-quality textile fabrics of all kinds according to customer specifications. The company has been applying functional, including adhesion-promoting, coatings to textiles for many years. Thorey’s own development and testing laboratory confirms the properties requested by the customer and offers further research and development work.
Our Subproject
Thorey supplies the textile and clothing industry with textiles that are processed into end-products such as home textiles and functional textiles. As a “vertical” material supplier, Thorey is therefore not only supposed to comply with new legal requirements, but also with various specifications set by its customers, e. g. textile and clothing manufacturers. This “vertical” position of Thorey as a supplier to several segments of the textile and clothing sector is representative for a large variety of similar companies in the sector. The company will act as an implementation partner for the science-based transformation workshops, in the development and application of the textile-specific compliance management system, and in the design of the “digital cooperation platform”.
Our Motivation
Thorey also needs to address the changes in the working world in order to remain an attractive and successful employer in the future. To achieve this, it is necessary to review current processes in terms of their relevance and efficiency, and to make adjustments where appropriate.
