Experience Circular Textiles: Research, Technologies and Regional Projects

As part of the Circular Week Aachen 2026, RETRAKT and the TFI projects ZirKuS and Choose2Reuse invite you to an afternoon and evening dedicated to current research, technologies and regional approaches to a circular textile economy.

At the OecherLab, research meets practical application: Together with the Human Technology Center (HumTec) at RWTH Aachen University, the projects will present their approaches and discuss the challenges of textile circularity, the solutions being developed and how these can be put into practice.

RETRAKT will present an exhibition featuring the project and the ORTOVOX Fleece Grid Hoody, demonstrating how circular textiles and the Digital Product Passport can work together in practice. The programme will also include insights into circularity initiatives in Aachen and the Euregio, followed by a get-together with opportunities for personal exchange.

Participation is free of charge. Registration is open until 14 October 2026.
