The research project RETRAKT is featured in the latest issue of OutdoorMarkt Magazine with the article “Greifbare Textilwende” (“A Tangible Textile Transition”,) alongside an interview with project colleague Nicole Espey. The feature highlights how the transition toward a circular, resilient, and data-driven textile economy can be actively shaped within the context of current European regulatory developments.
The project is driven by increasingly stringent EU requirements, particularly those outlined in the Ecodesign Regulation, the EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles, and the Digital Product Passport. These initiatives establish new frameworks for product design, transparency, and the seamless availability of data across global value chains.
The full article appears in the current issue of OutdoorMarkt Magazine and provides deeper insights into the RETRAKT project.
